we are considering moving out of our property we own and rent out another larger property nearby. We are thinking of offering our property to the PM we apply for our rental to sweeten the deal, it seems to be a tight rental market near us. We are also thinking of offering 12 months up front rent.

We last rented 5 years ago, good tenants but have lived in our PPOR since.

What’s our thoughts here on using the same property manager to let out our house who we use to rent another home through?

Interesting proposition, offering a bribe to get a rental.

How do you know that the agent is any good? You won't until you face the first issues.

Do the rounds of opens to see them in action, get them all in to hear their spiel.

Hmm, I wont do it due to conflict of interest.
Rather keep all transactions at arm's length.
