A leap of faith, in its most commonly used meaning, is the act of believing in or accepting something intangible or unprovable, or without empirical evidence.

What's your leap of faith moment/episode.... you went with your gut you took a chance and you won.... not necessarily about money, but can be?? about your life, a risk that came together, you had a win:)

Offering to buy my very 1st IP without having done a Pest & Building report (because another buyer was also in the race). Exchanged unconditionally and then discovered it was a steel framed house that termites don't eat. Whew!

I'm not alone. We are equally crazy. :)

Met at the end of August.....married by mid November. Together nearly 18 years.

Buying an expensive (>$200k) sports car. My spreadsheet kept screaming "NOOOOO" but my heart said "if not now, then when?"

So glad I made the leap of faith and that my wife supported the decision. So many positive life experiences for both ourselves and the people around us thanks to a "useless depreciating asset."

10% slower rate of progress to our financial goals, but the massively increased enjoyment of life is immeasurable. Not for everyone, but perfect for us.

    Congratulations.

In the middle of "being engaged" I was in the process of opening two shopping centres. No time for Bridezilla moments.
