I am in Perth and the IP had a new tiled bathroom 2 years ago.
Its got a family of 4 adult size people living in it and the toilet wall on the opposite side of the shower is leaking water.
Plumber said there was a seal on the tile shower and the water was bouncing of the tenants, back on the taps and through the bricks between the rooms.
He grouted round the taps and the wall on the other side of the taps is drying out.
The bottom of the wall is still wet and leaking.

Is it possible that the area between the rooms in the bricks has filled with water and needs drying out?
Will grouting round the taps be ok?

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks for your input.

Yes, but it will dry out on its own over time.
Yes, but I would have thought silicone would have been a better, more flexible, solution. Grout can crack and fall out.

I don't understand when you say the water is bouncing of (off?) the tenants ... do you mean while they are in the shower? Splashes?

Did he check the leak wasn't from plumbing inside the wall behind the waterproofing?

Grout is not waterproof, it is porous, the physical barrier of it should reduce the water entering. But I would have thought that entry point is on the inside of the waterproofing and shouldn't go through the wall?

Ah - found the leak in the hot water pipe. Cost - 4 brand new tiles and no matching lot number left. Insurance job. messy fix up.
