it nice to see my kids can come up with some good lateral thinking .

Middle son , coming home late from work , hungry and tired .

Goes to Pizza Hut , orders pizza for home delivery .

Next question " can they delivery me home as well ? "

We used to get this all the time. Our pizza shop was opposite a local pub.

Almost always the answer was no - if they want the lift home, they can pay taxi rates. Its just not worth the risk. Plus if we're doing multiple drop offs, they're probably not going to be overly impressed.

After finishing massive 4 day hiking tour we did same in Queenstown in NZ. It worked, but we also ordered 4 family size pizzas (for 6 people ) Never has pizza tasted as good as in that night :D
