Which insurance company out there covers "loss of rent" for the most amount of time? I know EBM only covers 6 weeks which is nothing but are there any companies that covers 3-6 months or longer?

How does an Allianz LL policy compare to say an EBM or Terri Sheer one as usually it seems that these 2 are the "gold standard" recommendations?

Westpac LL Insurance pays up to $1k per week for a max of 10 weeks. But the tenant must be legally evicted - good luck with that!

I don't know what "gold standard" refer to. I have sticked to Allianz for a while now and it have not fail me by far. I have not try EBM although my agents recommend it often.

Have used Allianz in the past.
Good experience, worth their money and brand.

Agreed, I have also used Allianz in the past and have had to make a number of diverse claims with them. I don't have any Allianz policies any more mainly because they became too expensive in some regional markets.

Interesting. Allianz are cheaper than EBM for the IP I have in Sydney. The difference was about $100 to $130 this year.

They priced their policies in cyclone prone areas such that they were no longer affordable or competitive. Different story in capital cities.
