    Hi guys,

Wondering if anyone can shed light on an issue with making a landlord insurance claim.

So my tenants are late on a few weeks rent and fled the property. I undertand I'll be covered for loss of rent ect, that's no concern.
But they haven't paid their first water bill and I received a letter from the council today stating that since the last bill, the daily water usage has tripled. Since that time there were numerous people not on the lease living in the property. My insurance provider says they don't cover that..

So will this end up coming in as a loss to me in the end??

    Claim water invoice from bond
Claim rent loss on landlord insurance

Awesome thanks for the reply! @Xenia

As for the second bill, it won't come through for a couple of months so is there a way around that??

Take the water meter reading, compare to last water reading and charge for water usage (use bond).
