VIC Land in Fyansford

Few blocks in the Fyansford area for sale on incredibly large blocks for strangely low prices.

450k a few months ago on 1200 sqm and the block right above it is advertised for 550-580k currently for 1400sqm but on a significantly more sloped block.

Very huge blocks for how close to Geelong.

If both were available (550k for 1200 and 580+ for the sloped 1400sqm. What would you do? The area is lovely.

 

Very steep blocks.
Adds to the cost of building.
How useable is the extra sqm of land really?
Noise from the traffic on the ring rd?

 

I would say the 1400 SQM block advertised at 550-580K+ (which has a lot of interested parties) would be considered quite sloped and standing on the property I imagined landscaping a usable backyard to be awkward and expensive.
But 1200 next door that sold for 450 is quite flat in comparison and should be quite easy to make a comfortable yard.

Very much confusing me

What is on your wish list?
Other options/areas?
Land is both scarce and/or pricey atm. Would you be settling rather than having a little more patience in finding a better block?
However, if you are keen on this one - go for it.
