I still like the whole glad wrap over the toilet seat idea the best!!
My sister and I did it to my mum 3 years ago.
She was too clever for us. #fail

At home - easier by a very small degree (depends on what type of pants I'm wearing though).

Outside - way, way easier (not having to wait for an empty stall, closing the door whilst minimising as much contact as possible etc).

Just consider the ladies line vs the men's.... There's never a line up for the men's.

In Switzerland, at one stage at least, it was illegal in a block of flats for aan to stand up at the look while peeimg. The noise from a standing position apparently was too much for the neighbours.

Maybe not easier - but certainly quicker (don't have to pull pants right down).

Except for first thing in the morning sometimes. Then it can be pretty much impossible to pee sitting down (and not exactly easy to pee standing up either!). ahem (link potentially NSFW).

So long as they clean up after themselves. Nobody likes drips on the seat. Better to avoid it completely by lifting the seat IMO.

And the toilet roll should be hanging on the outside.

Why isn't this thread in First World Problems?

When we first started going out, hubby never put the lid down ... until he saw a doco on TV regarding the spread of water droplets after flushing ... never left the seat up since.

Here's why you should always close the toilet lid when you flush

Can't stand seats up in real estate photos - it's like an unmade bed or dishes all over the bench.

    Me too.

I can't believe that PC is the place that this male secret is revealed.

Only at night. But the split stream thing negates any aiming. All you can do is direct the larger of the two streams.

While we are on the subject of peeing,,, the male urinals in the public toilets always made me feel a little uncomfortable.. too close together they are... ... so I always wait to go into the cubicle..

    Anyone else do that..?

Well done. We can continue to accept you into our society, since at least you have the means to determine where to go to the bathroom. Well, not counting that time that you drunkenly decided that the hood of your neighbour's car was a good place to 'mark your territory'. Yeah, that's right, we know
