Reads like some political bash-up very loosely linked to the actual findings of the commission.

The best part was when the 5 foot inch high all dressed in black union reps would come on site and target subbies, they walk up and ask about union members ect, then who we work for ,all i would say is this is his phone number, then walk away the phone rings and your talking to the same village idiot only your around the corner, then walk back and say how you go..
    Final Report

Gee I hate to buck the trend but I'm in favour of unions. Sure there's corruption but corruption doesn't stop with the unions.

Whenever a manager at work hassles me I respond " I'll ring the union! Do you want me to ring the union? I'll do it." lol works every time.

Mind you, I have been threatened with assault from brown tongue co workers.

Me too, and I'm an employer. It keeps us honest. There's corruption everywhere. It's obvious to me that there is more graft and corruption in political parties than unions.

I have decent working conditions and it's 100% because of unions. If we left it to employers, our workplaces would look like something from a Dickens novel.
