    Gday everyone,

After months and months trying to side wether to purchase my first ip or do a structural kitchen Renovation I have decided to do the Reno.

I am a week and a half into the Reno and it is starting to look great.

Ready for benchtops to get measured up and start doing paint touch ups.

The extra light and brightness you've brought to that space is amazing. It doesn't look like the same house. Well done.

    Love the pics!
You know you're into serious reno when there is a chainsaw in the pics :)

Hahaha the chainsaw was for cutting the Skirting and architraves :D:D. Just joking it was for cutting the hardwood ceiling joists.

When I saw the first few photos I was thinking - I would have got rid of the arched doorways.

Then I got the Wow! kitchen!

Wow! That's amazing. I thought the original photos were the reno until the second lot.

Are you a builder - we looked at doing something similar in terms of structural changes, but the local laws meant a builder's licence was required, building approval from council, and certification afterwards (also checked building approval and licence!).

Wow, what a transformation. As a constant renovator I know how much work would have gone into that. Great job.

Setting the beam up into roof gives you bonus points! :) its like a new house. most importantly is the boss happy?

Is the plan to get a re-val and pull out the gorilla's to go shopping with?

I am not a licenced builder yet. My papers are still going through processing. I have been a carpenter for 17 years.

Unfortunately I won't be able to help until I receive my licence. I can't give you the certificates you will require.
