    Hi All

I would like to modernise my kitchen, its dated but I like the layout and I believe they could repaint.

I would replace granite bench top as colour is dated and also new tiles/splash back.

I don't want to go to the larger kitchen manufacturers because they will charge like wounded bull.

Anyone suggest anyone decent that they have used.

    Thanks
    MTR:)

For a more affordable granite top, I'd recommend looking into granite transformations.

For a nice kitchen like yours I probably wouldn't paint the doors, I would just get new doors for the existing carcass. I would go direct to a cabinet maker rather than one of the kitchen renovation companies.

@Jamie_ can give you some good local recommendations for cabinet makers

Don't know how I missed this thread initially, How soon are you looking to get it done? This side of Xmas will be quite hard for many companies now as they're all booked up. Especially when it comes to wanting new stone/granite. If you do want to go down the path of repainting the doors then definitely have a look at this brochure.

You can check out the different profiles etc.
Pretty much any cabinet maker can order these doors made to order, the alternative is getting a guy who specialises in painting to mix up the paint and make the doors for you, what this means is that you can simply pick a paint colour that matches your house, rather than a generic paint from their range and get them made to suit.
In regards to the stone, just get in contact with any number of stonemasons direct as it's becoming more and more common that the cabinet makers don't want to deal with the stone (they'll always recommend you someone they like to deal with).

If you'd like me to PM you some company names who can do the second option then let me know,

    Jamie

thanks for the replies, just saw these.

I have photos of the current kitchen with the old brown granite bench top and what I am trying to achieve to modernise the last picture.

I am sorry but I have been trying to rotate these pictures/photos with no luck, but at least you can get some idea of what I am trying to achieve. Perhaps someone can rotate these, damn it
    Just rotated these photos.
    1. replace brown granite to marble benchtop
    2. want all white doors, keep same handles
    3. re tile/white tiles
Similar to the picture I posted, I think this would work well.

Thanks if you could pm me some of those contacts that would be great. I could use my cabinet maker from Spearwood, but concerned that this is not his area of expertise.

    Thanks
