    Hi All,
One of my friend is interested to buy a property in the new development area for the price range of 405K.
I read in the Somersoft forum search that Kelso is an area to be avoided. Is it the same still.

What is the area to be considered in Bathurst?
He is looking for CG and cash flow and hence that area he selected.

    Regards
    Velli

I purchased an established property in West Bathurst in 2012 for $265k it's now worth circa $320k rents for $350p/w. I think Bathurst will continue to do nice long term, no input on Kelso though sorry.

Was the advice to avoid the area because of type of tenant and proximity to houso? Or was it because there's a problem getting tenants? Like anywhere, if there's a healthy tenant pool you should investigate further, I reckon. Bathurst is a great place.
