    Hi guys
    I am newbie here. Been looking to invest I property but getting mixed suggestions whether I should invest in property right now. Some say to wait, some say invest.

    Hope you can help me. My area of interest is Melbourne western suburbs and budget is close to 600k.

    I want to invest in a growth property where I can work around the permits and eventually sell it to a developer with permit of multi dwelling.

    We're seeing a lot of activity in the Altonas.

    Never sign a contract without carefully checking the property's planning scheme and overlays first. What's been built next door is irrelevant as planning schemes change every few years.

    Thanks for your response. So you mean it is not necessary that I will get permit for multi-dwelling even if there is a permit given next door?

    Who are the people saying invest? Who are the people saying wait?

    Successful investors? Armchair experts? Family and friends?

    How did you come to your area of interest? Where else did you consider?
