    Unless they are over 18 it's generally a good idea to keep teenagers close where you can keep your beady eye on them, I find.

    We managed in a small 3/1 with two teenagers and only one living room. The boys never left their bedrooms for about 15 years until they moved out (together). Good thing they love each other so much. One day I bought a new bathroom vanity with dual sinks - that was a lifestyle investment!
