Definitely not too late to make some gains mate, I would say though, the door is closing pretty quick so if you're going to move it would be best to ASAP.

I was looking in Logan too prior to knowing about Kallangur, glad I went with the North Side though, the guys on here helped me make my mind up! Huge things ahead!

1.03 hectare block of prime land on Dohles Rocks road coming up for auction. Walking distance to the Kallangur train station, walking distance to the University of the Sunshine Coast/ The Mill PDA via the bike path that runs parallel to the train line, and walking distance to the planned satellite hospital for Dohles Rocks road.

I'm keen to see what becomes of it in time. This block has massive development potential, whichever developer ends up buying it is bound to make a killing.

Thanks KPAT, I made an offer today and was in the running until the last hour where I was blown out of the water buy a late offer. Being the bridesmaid sucks but it is what it is. For people that know the area what are some of the better public primary schools around? Thanks

I'd double that figure in the current builder shortage!

Undurba State School has a fairly good reputation. There’s also Dakabin State School, Kallangur State School, Petrie State School, depending on the location of your property in Kallangur / Catchment areas.

Best to refer to the QLD Government school catchment map website:

Ha, yup, just depends if you’ve got some good connections or not!
But yes, the builder shortage atm doesn’t seem to be an issue that will be easing for at least 18-24 months.

I bought a house in Kallangur in 2020 for $350k and was looking to do a quick turnaround project.

I'm going to hold now through 2021 as I learned through share trading, we as humans are built to hold our losses too long and sell our profits too quick. I read a book once that had this wise old man called Mr Partridge and when everyone came up to him and made their reason on why he should sell his shares that had gone up he just always answered, "But this is a bull market!"

    So I think of him.

I always take inspiration from the story of the Chinese Farmer.

Sometimes, good things happen, so that bad things can happen. Sometimes bad things happen, so that good things can happen.
Never focus on the event itself, but rather, focus on the consequences of the event.

Cautious optimism, is always the best strategy in life, and all business dealings.

Suburbs where homes rose $51k a month

Southern Moreton Bay still on a tear. News.com.au is possibly the worst source of ‘news’ in Australia, but it gets a mention. Anyone got a link to the full Corelogic report?
