    Guys need your help. I have gone through this thread but still m confused. I am after investment property on a budget under 500k. I am after a low set brick house preferably 4bhk. Do you recommend I invest in Kallangur or Bray park? I am also confused between Morton bay and Logan council. Kindly advise.

    I too would like to know if this is still possible for <500k. Sold prices indicate "maybe"

    Honestly, if you can get a decent freestanding property on a 600m+ Block under $450k that needs no Reno’s, that’s as close to this...

    ... as possible, it’s pretty hard to go wrong. South Kallangur, East Petrie and North Lawnton are set to benefit from this incredible infrastructure. I’m not aware of Bray Park having any major infrastructure planned.

    If you want a fourth bedder, you might need to budget for slightly more than $500k, most decent 4 bedders seem to sit in that territory.

    You reckon this is still possible for under 500k? I'm on the verge of engaging a BA but I'm concerned they won't be able to find anything decent for me based on sold prices over the last few weeks.

    I think a 3 bedder is possible for just under $500k. The best you can do is contact a series of agents in the area, and get them to contact you if anything suitable comes up, before they put it onto the open market.

    I'm a first time interstate buyer, so I'll be getting a BA who will hopefully be getting those off market opportunities for me (part of the job description right?)

    “Moreton Bay Regional Council is developing a Neighbourhood Plan for Kallangur-Dakabin.

    The area is projected to grow by 10,400 people by 2041 which will bring the population to 35,700 residents. Council is committed to guiding growth and development while considering the things that make this neighbourhood unique through a Kallangur-Dakabin Neighbourhood Plan.

    A neighbourhood plan is a supplementary planning document that details a vision and strategies to help guide future development in an area or on particular matters. It will take about two years to develop and after it is finalised there will likely be changes made to the MBRC Planning Scheme to reflect relevant aspects of the neighbourhood plan and introduce more locally specific development assessment criteria.
