No King. Kerry offered the bet. Very few people know about the 11-2 mill bet with Dom .Shows you what a massive punter Kerry was. Easy to get on in the 70's and eighties. Those were the days..

Very sad, and yet; we see and hear LOADS and LOADS of gambling company ads on the teevee and radio....time for the government to ban them like they have with cigarettes...should ban alcohol ads too (although I do have a drink or two most days).

Nadine. I couldn't agree more Nadine. I used to be a bookmaker and have been a punter most of my life and i think it is an absolute disgrace. Every five minutes these leeches come on Tv with government approval. and yet these bookies won't let you on for a decent bet.
Very few people play poker online because of the bots so the government bans them because they were not getting a cut. No worries about gambling adds on tv polluting young minds or the pokies that rip millions from the old age pensioners. Absolute disgrace.

    Who kept the coin?

As for the drop in share price, William Hill was the staunchest opponent to restrictions being placed on credit betting, this came into effect on 17/2/18 and has impacted heavily on the business. The Waterhouse business is being flicked by WH according to the Fin Review.

Thanks Scott. Will read more. I heard rumours they were about to depart. I don't bet much anymore.
I have always thought the racing industry was about betting.and turning money over. The overseas bookies in Darwin changed all that. Very sad industry now. Back to the cryptos

Why are you sure he is worth at least $500M?

McGraths is listed on the ASX - code MEA - he has approx 31M shares @ about .33 per share = about $10M worth. 12 months ago they were worth double that. Listed on 14/12/2015 at about $1.90 per share - not sure how many shares he had at the listing.

I wouldn't imagine he would own a lot of property, but I could be wrong.
