Question to anyone that does knows the answer..

Is a 4th year apprentice eligible for Jobseeker? If so, does that also mean he can also qualify for the apprentice training subsidy or it's this subsidy solely paid to the employer?

Can someone please clarify what this employee is entitled to assuming he is eligible?
Is there such thing an Apprentice Training subsidy passed on to the employee?

Does the apprentice earn more than $1500 gross a fortnight ? If not its not an issue. If a third party trainee program employs the apprentice its their affair and not yours too.

There is an apprenctice subsidy as well. Apprenticeships Stimulus Package Fact Sheet - Sarina Russo Group

All schemes incl jobkeeper, apprentices and cashflow boost (employers who pay any wages) if eligible pay the employer. Only payment to a "employee" is jobseeker. Reason is that employers are being paid to retain workers even if they do less. Apprentices cant apply for anything until they lose their job (jobseeker). Only their employer. And employer may lose access to those benefits and so reinstatement becomes attractive.
