Go for the steelers but you've gotta wear an aussie hat or something!

Yeah, flying out in a couple of hours to spend the weekend in Pittsburgh. Following weekend in New York for Eagles V Jets. Also seeing Yankees/White Sox, Yankees/Red Sox, Nationals/Orioles and Islanders/capitals in a pre season game at the Islanders new ice at Barclays Centre in Brooklyn.

A Steelers win will be the highlight though.

My sons want to wear their Qld State of Origin jerseys in the hope of catching the eye of Hayne.

Damn @Hoffy - I want to by you right now.

Have an awesome time - would love to see a pic if you have time.

Hopefully Brown and roethlisberger put on a show.

I'm planning a sporting trip in 2020 - lots of NBA and NFL :)

    Cheers

No worries. Will post a pic.

Brown and Big Ben are an amazing combination. Just a shame Bell is suspended for one more game.

Damn Hoffy - awesome game to watch live!

Some of those receptions by Brown were incredible. Hope you're having a blast. I'm watching Packers v Seahawks on a broken iPad in Canberra :-( Would love to be in the US right now.

    Cheers

It was an amazing game. The Steelers just dominated them in the first half, with Brown outstanding. The atmosphere was brilliant and it was a record regular season crowd for the steelers. The streets were one big party afterwards, and the river was packed with boats all partying too.

Hayne didn't get much opportunity, though he did make one first down.

Have just come back from a great Orioles win at Nationals with Manny Machado hitting a 2 run homer to clinch it.

Quiet night for the 49ers on the weekend meant a quiet night for Hayne. His 37 yard punt return was a doozy; very clean return, good cuts, basically set up the 49ers only score and TD for the night. It was his only touch for the day.

Surprised he didn't get more game time in the second half in a blowout, but the only other way you can look at it, is that maybe they want him injury free as the rest of the 49ers backfield is a little banged up right now. Cardinals aren't exactly the heavy hitters, and confirms earlier calls that the 49ers are at best a .500 team.

They're off to a good start though - aren't they averaging 40 points during the last 3 games?

Agree about the 49ers - not the best team to watch either (apart from seeing Hayne get touches).

I can't understand why they didn't rest Hyde when it looked like the Cardinals had it won.

    Cheers

Yeah, they're 3-0, but no-one predicted it during the off season. They had an ugly pre-season. They weren't being spoken of in the same way people were talking about Seattle, Packers, Patriots or Broncos though...

They were 9-1 before injuries to both Carson Palmer and backup Drew Stanton.
They still managed 11-5, and Bruce Arians won coach of the year.
Any team will be good with a healthy Carson Palmer.

I'm really enjoying the NFL. Forgot to cancel that one week trial so got slugged with the full year subscription! It's turned out well though - I've been streaming a lot of games. I still haven't decided on a team yet. I like the Giants and Steelers.

Even though I'm a Saints fan from way back, always had a soft spot for the Steelers back in the Jerome Bettis and Bill Cowhler days....

Steelers Jamie. Great team, great town. Just hope Big Bens injury is not too bad. With him, Bell and Brown, they are fun to watch that's for sure.

Yeah I'm leaning towards them. I do enjoy watching that Big Ben and Brown combo. Sucks that he went down in that last game :-(

    Cheers
