QLD January Brisbane meetup

I'm not totally refinanced yet. I have to pass valuations today and the fax machine at Suncorp still has to accept my discharge authority forms that we tried submitting before lunch. We also have to wait another 12 days to find out if our buyers are going unconditional.

I'm thinking about coming up to Brissy from the 23rd to the 26th. Is there definitely going to be a meet up?

 

Think the general consensus is on the 25th at the Bent Elbow on Old Cleveland Road at Stones Corner.

Time? Also, it's likely to be pretty busy late in the afternoon (it's a public holiday the next day, so there might be a few people out having a few cold ales on that Monday afternoon, that normally wouldn't be there).

Any chance we can make the meetup earlier i.e. 4pm as I'll need to get a 7:30pm flight out. I assume most people are taking the Monday off?

 

Mr Mooze and I can be there earlier. Probably 430ish after bussing after work from CBD

 

I am new to this Forum and to meetups. I am looking at coming.

Are meetups formal or informal? How does one identify/find the group if you don't know anyone? Should I rock up anytime between say 4:30 and 6:30pm?

Now in regards to time... I tend to think the majority of us will come more around 6/6.30pm but as you saw on the thread, there are some wanting to come earlier. Me, i'm coming up to Brisbane for 3.5 days, (starting Saturday), I may aim to be there ~5.30pmish (assuming there are a few earlier peeps) but I'll play the day by ear.
So just look around for a few random looking people...

@Mooze and @mrdobalina, if either of you have a property magazine, could you put it on the table to help assist people to find you?

Now everybody... I've made the assumption a booking won't be necessary, but from your own personal knowledge... does anybody know if one will be needed?
I may call the venue if you guys/gals think a booking is necessary.
