Hi everyone, I've recently stumbled across James Dawson's commercial property course and I was wondering if anyone has sat the course?
If anyone has. Could you please give me an honest review about it? Is it worth the time/money?
    Thanks in advance!

I had a look at the site...he claims to have too much money from successful investments...lives the good life in the Byron Bay hinterland....claims he wants to now 'help' others become wealthy...if he is truly altruistic to help you there would be no charges for courses and mentoring and no kickbacks from recommendations for property purchases...run

I have not done the course so I can't comment on that, but the newsletter I receive with his name on it leaves a LOT to be desired.

Like all property "seminars", "mentoring", "courses" they exist to separate fools from their money. Let me guess, at the end of the "course" they will provide you with some amazing property deals in some distant location.

There's nothing they provide that can't be learnt from your own research.

My mentor doesn't charge me a dime and doesn't sell books or courses. Literally has retired and is a sounding board and makes comments of 'have you thought of this' 'what if this happens'.

I am always hesitant of listening to someone who wants to charge high fees about how to be retire through property, yet they are not retired if they are spurking courses.

I listened to the webinar last night and booked in a 45 minute information session for this morning. The trainer I spoke to had bought the training package only 3 months ago and has never bought a commercial property. She also quoted completely different figures and information about an 'amazing deal' made by Tim, a student of the course. I'd taken screen shots of some of the slides while the webinar was on so I could ask about some of the numbers and was astounded when she quoted not only a different purchase price (last night it was $3 million and this morning it was $1 million) but a different purchase strategy altogether.

I knew, from reading other people's comments, that the course is $4000 but this information isn't given at any time during the webinar.

@JackKeily I agree with @DiligentPM , if he has so much money...why is he charging for his courses and material.

Maybe he wants others to pay for his new Ferrari...and is that unreasonable?

Or maybe, he's not doing that much business and prefers a Corolla ( not that there's anything wrong with that...)

I have not looked into this chap but perhaps he has other ideas of being a mentor and sees this as creating an income stream for himself. Not everyone can go out and find a great free mentor and many would be happy to pay for the guidance if it gets them started on the road to enlightenment. ... i mean financial freedom.
Isn't that what birch et all (;) fancy ay), cherie barber, tafe (can't think of any else atm) etc etc everyone else that is providing education of some form for others.

He may or may not be a con artist I'm not sure.... my cheque will bounce but ill see what info i can get out of him in the mean time

He's a registered member of PIPA, and once I did a deal of looking into him I came to the conclusion that he wasn't a con-artist. Just a shame he charges so much for his courses

An income stream for himself? Lucky him.

    I feel this way too.

    1. Buy below market.

    2. Renovate frugally, but with a marketable outcome.

    3. Rent above market.

    4. Write up a seminar to discuss point 1 to 3.

    5. Type up Weekend Boot Camp invoice for $10k (per attendee)

    6. Go to Step 1 or Step 4 depending on current motivation.

Bob, you're right, but now the Delete button has disappeared and everybody on this forum will have the keys to successful property spruiking... for free.

Now, in return, does anybody have any software that can beat the odds in horse racing?

According to social media there's a brave new world to be had in penny stocks... and just imagine what you could do with an infallible plan in relation to currency trading (with stop losses of course...)

    Nothing.

    Buy low. Sell high.

And I think I saw a T-shirt the the other day with a motherhood statement on it that also said "Rinse and repeat."
