    Has changing your own tyre gone out of fashion these days? or is it too hard for the males on this forum ... :eek:

    The tyre had a screw in it... wasn't a case of just changing a flat tyre.

    But if I'm being totally truthful, I carry a couple of cans of the instant freeze solution. I've used it a few times when I had punctures, freeze the hole and be on my merry way in 3 minutes. Send it to a shop let them deal with it and in 10 minutes all done.

    Lifes too short. CBF with that sorta thing if I don't have to. Changed plenty in the past.

    Changing wheels I can do very quickly - changing tyres is a lot harder.

    I actually have a set of tyre levers, but buggered if I could break the bead on the tyres of my old Jackaroo.... gave up in the end.

    Maybe should have invested in tyrepliers.
