    It rained in Sydney too today. The grass is so dry and dead though. Need more rain. In past years we'd have very hot summer days but then we'd have afternoon thunderstorms. This has been missing.

    A bit this week, but not proper rain.

    I just measured 36mm in our gauge from overnight rain (that’s 1.5 inches in the old gauge).

    I won’t be mowing the grass today :D.

    Geez, the lawn has turned green overnight.

    So thankful for what we got. Hopefully there is more to come for everyone.

    Nothing down here in Canberra except for one minute the night before last. I can't see any rain recorded for anywhere Newcastle or south.

    Was driving from Melb to Lorne on Friday for the Lorne Pier to Pub swim on Sat.
    At 11.00am it was 31 degrees, by 2.00pm it was 13 degrees and blasting down rain.
    By the time we got to where we staying just out of Skene's Creek an hour or so later it was 10 degrees.
    The forecast is for another similar change on Wed - hot followed by afternoon cold front, rain and temp plummets.
