    I am glad we have our own SMSF with a return of 12.28% pa for the last 5 years (down from 15.65% pa for last 10 years).

    Yeah, but this is a Fat Cat thread & so is the link provided.... so gold = worst.... maybe make the 1st post clearer if that's the real intention as it'll get confusing rather quickly.....

    Perhaps it's just me.... either way it's a good fund comparison report.

    I was with the gold medalist poor performer for many years, part of my break up with our financial advisor was to dump the Fat Cat Fund:(

    I note that all of the fat cats are retail funds, that says alot about which funds require reform.

    It’s unbelievable that they’re even allowed, it’s a conflict imo, outcome for members should be only concern rather than revenue from fees.

    @TSK - unfortunately retail funds are in it for their shareholders not for the customer.

    Industry funds are generally NFP so distribute more of the earnings back to the members.

    SSSSH don't tell ASIC that you are effectively running a SMSF.
