    I find it hard to believe no one has said this earlier, but if it matters so much (and it wouldn't to me), maybe the OP or the PM could just ask them...?

    Reading the subtext - a couple of options: they're serial hoarders, could be axe-murderers with time to kill, hydro nursert or setting up a meth lab?

    Could be that one of them already has a child from another relationship and the child comes to stay some weekends. This is very common plus an office each. I have 3 bedrooms and 2 lounge rooms, live by myself and manage to use all rooms.
