Screenshot_20191030-214536_Drive.jpg Screenshot_20191030-214541_Drive.jpg hey guys,I just bought an investment property and has got this report. How serious Is this defect and what's the best move for me? I was thinking just keep patching it up. Should I be worried that this will be an ongoing issue and gets worse?

You have made the effort to get a building report, so now please follow the advice on the report to consult a structural engineer for an assessment.

    Then decide what to do.

I know this isn't going to help this purchase, but shouldn't you have done the report *before* you bought?

Are you able to attach a better copy of the images? It's very difficult to determine what is happening.

Tarneit/Truganina. The house is 10ys, you reckon the warranty covers the defect?

Can't do. I spoke to the inspector and he's said it'd be a slab issue. Can I claim warranty for that you reckon?

Have you actually bought it? Or just put down the .25%?
