Why wouldn't they use a real estate agency in USA? Doesn't sound right to me.

    How very odd.
So their target market is people searching for property in Killarney Vale?

Its a little bit like putting in a search for Darlington near Redfern and getting houses out in Darlington out in the NSW countryside...

Let's put legal or illegal aside.

I wonder how effective is this marketing ad.

To me it's clearly wasting money and time.

    I reckon.
Maybe Killarney Vale has a lot of ex-US people.

I say it's the agent just trying to use the exposure of a popular Australian Property advertising medium to get the attention of Australian investors under false pretenses to sell US property using the low purchase price and high returns as the hook. Obviously most will work out that this isn't in Killarney Vale but then again...the agent's objective has been met. Which was to catch the eye of a potential buyer.

    Hmm.
I'm looking for a house at the Central Coast of NSW.
An ad for a house in Arkansas USA comes up.
"We're moving to the US darl!"

As a side note, is there any mechanism for reporting incorrect information on RE.com.au, or do you just have to contact the agent?

Sorry, I am not convinced that the objective was met.

As far as I concern, the agent's job is to extracting the buyer(s) from the market and negotiate the best suitable term, condition, price for the buyer and sellers. Then make the transaction happen

This ad is caught our attention. highly unlikely translate to any transaction.
It's more likely to wasting marketing expense of the sellers and confuse the area property buyers. More stupidly( sorry about my language), the agent looks like doesn't know what he/she is doing....... how will people comfortable doing business with them in the future ? o_Oo_Oo_O

There is but you need to got through the support page to find it normally.
Link below so you can see:

Btw, I already did reported it on Monday but it takes some time for them to get around to removing it.
