Is my yard big enough for a dencent size pool

    My yard is 8.5m depth * 14.5m width (The builidng is 3m setback from the secondary st boundary, so usable space for development is 8.5*11.5).

    Any advices are more than appreciated.

    personal preferences. Small family sure. Pool parties maybe. Swimming laps no.

    So would your preference be a small pool or just lawn only.

    Thank you so much for advices. I guess Duchess suits me better because it wold be 6M away from my house and doesn't require retaining work.

    One question though, does 2.5m include coping and fence?

    No it's just the size of the pool. If you wanted it hard up against your boundary fence then you might still need some retaining depending what the fence is made of and the levels of your neighbour on that side and what they have built in that area. At the very least a concrete beam around the edges of the pool to provide some stability perhaps
