    They've been doing this consistantly since 2008. Competitive loans aren't always about cheap rates, it's very much about consistancy and reliability, which BankWest has continuously demonstrateated that they're not.

    Thanks folks, for all your honest comments.

    What frustrates me so much is that in this case I've got a broker assisting me, and he's been super helpful, but when I ask about issues with Bankwest he's been absolutely insistent that they're good, that he hasn't had any problems with them, and that he's happy to recommend them.

    It's exhausting to feel like I can't trust the people I'm depending on for advice.

    They are not that bad. I have put many customers to them and continue to do so.
    Don't forget that it is cheap and easy to move - assuming you can still service.

    I suspect they are relatively fresh to the industry,which is fine

    My gripes with spoonerism bank go back as far as 2001.........

    While we still use them on a needs basis, never on a preferred lender basis
