I settled my first property 7th May and still on the hunt for more bargains. Purchased in Townsville which is home town for me. Looking around NQ & QLD all the time. Keep an eye on Northern NSW as was living there for 2 years just before moving back to NQ at the start of the year, love the area & life style.

If you don’t spend so much time looking for deals that your partner yells at you for taking the iPad to the loo, then you’re not in the ball game.
Where: 30 mins from home or work or wherever you know best.

Try a thought exercise. Think of a property that, if you found it, you would actually be willing to buy. Suburb, type, price, yield, whatever.

How realistic that is tells you whether you are actually looking to buy, or just making yourself feel better by shooting down ideas.

Put it this way, you come up with a Vaucluse house at 3 times your income, well......

Really a bit too much info on your personal habits, that’s a long way to hold on, but is considerate for your family & workmates! :)

Hahahaha, mate this could not be anymore than true. Also can't forget to mention being told to turn the brightness down at night because the light keeps them awake

Yes looking to buy now. Looking in inner east Melbourne, along the train line. Depending on the property, you may have significant negotiation power

Yes, Perth, Adelaide or Bendigo, each of which serves a purpose for me. So can’t decide where. :)
