is 20 years the new 10 year cycle??

    Need to clarify... after boom comes bust... just part of property cycles, nothing has changed, just look at the last 20 years. Just got to work out what market makes sense, strong, starting to rise.

    Some people ( probably more than just some) never experience 'bust' situations because they bought well and the right stock. :)

    I've never been afraid of 'bust' situations ever.

    By bust I mean a correction, fall in price, same as what happened in the last Syd cycle 2003/4?

    when I say bust... I mean correction, crash, fall etc etc. We never know how low it will go.... on a micro level some suburbs/areas will feel more pain than others??

    Definitely agree. Also the time and price point the property was bought will affect much of how well/poorly an investor thinks they did.
