    Cheers James, so good info in there, especially on developments etc.

    What are peoples thoughts on developments like this one in Silkstone effect prices/growth on immediately neighboring older houses? Given older house land size could be double the size of the new blocks, plus they get the bonus of a nice new little shopping complex, is it a positive thing or possibly a negative thing with regard to supply and rental vacancies? I would assume, although on tiny lots, these 'new' houses would ask substantially more for rentals so may not effect other surrounding houses unless one also asking a similar price?
