I think " mining overlay (?)" is an easy search in Ipswich Council website. Bit like assuming all of Brisbane floods, parts of Ipswich have unstable soil like this.do you know the address?

    Nasty with a capital N.
I'm sure there are nice spots.

It's happened a bit over the last few years. Some mine subsidence or some such malarkey.

From what I understand the pubs are already quite full on the weekends.
Don't think I would head there especially for a meal and drinks though.

Spot on, in Spring Hill at the moment.
Went out to Wacol and Durack over the weekend, didn't seem that far.

Fair enough! I too think brisbanites venturing into murky depths of Ipswich for a night out prob isn't going to be the norm anytime soon. But it would be something different I guess. For those living/moving to the inner Ipswich areas it's great. Good food, nice pubs. And all the character you can fill your boots with.

Yeah, anything they do to improve the area is good thing.
Like many areas of Brisbane, it's still not fully back to normal since the massive floods.

    They do look pretty good.
Not sure about brunch, but I do like the sound of the pork knuckle at Heisenberg Haus, something I definitely would travel out there for!

    Hi Mick Butterfield,

Is it possible to get a copy of the reports too?

    Thanks
