    Do you think the Gold Coast market has been and gone for growth in this cycle? Also, what are peoples thoughts on Tweed Heads? Decent capital growth over the years, but is the area overly touristy rather than having owner-occupier potential?

    Sounds like you know nothing about either areas. Do some research or get a BA. There are plenty of threads on this forum about the Gold Coast and Tweed.

    Tweed Heads is nice and I think will be a good place longer term.

    The .area has boomed alreadyj

    If you use the search function you may be able to find previous threads on either area. While it would be worthwhile for you to research historical data on each area to determine the price movement in recent years. I hope this helps.
