I have a Ip that is settling next week with solar panels. Does anyone know how the rebate works in regards to getting the solar it produces back in my pocket? The managing agency doesn't currently manage any properties with solar panels.

    Thanks

Not sure if its different in Victoria but here in Adelaide we have a few properties with solar panels.

The tenants get cheaper electricity, ie the rebate goes onto their bill. The owner or PM doesn't need to do anything here and is the fairest method for all involved.

I've found it also helps when it comes to leasing - against similarly priced available properties, tenants know their overall expenditure will be a little lower.
