Not so much of a growth corridor as opposed a growth island ;) These terms are often thrown around as part of the marketing ploy by developers selling stock and speculative investors. Also helps with the newspaper headlines.

What are some decent cheaper neighboring suburbs around Keperra? Around the 500k mark?

As others have mentioned, there are good parts of Keperra and some not so much.

The Kings Park estate is a nice little pocket and close to the new shopping centre with Bunnings and Woolies etc.

I have seen some of the best CG came from the busiest main roads.

Yeronga is off the flood zones slightly, wonder is anyone here is familiar with that area to know how bad it is when floods.

I like Yeronga for less hassles hold too.

Is there any other (better) recommendations hehehe...

Budget 2.5 M for long term hold. CF doesn’t really matter

Maybe have a quick check on this map,Yeronga did flood all along the river--front and backed up into all the lower sections ,there is another block of flats near the railway line 150 mts from that listing and those properties did suffer flood damage in one way or another..imho..

It's quite diverse geographically. Some parts are a flood disaster, others are elevated and fine. But as a riverside suburb it isn't "off the flood zones".

@Codie . Interesting. I was going through glassmountain hills data which is in middle of nowhere has vacancy rates 0.7% and 80% suburbs is OO.Avg 550 views for property.I wonder how some far flung suburbs become so desirable.

Cant speak for glasshouse but I can’t imagine people are building much up there? This would explain low vacancy to some degree?

Thinking about hills Northside Brisbane or Sydney, it’s desirable for family’s, tree lined streets, generally safer, quieter roads & big homes. And still close enough to commute. Quite easy to see why these area’s are high OO.

Yeah makes sense-Quite beautiful and leafy suburb. Not sure about commute.I see that many are retirees there.Having said so,I guess, lower vacancy rates may not necessarily mean good investment location as most people moving there want to buy instead of renting.

I have heard this a few times but don't understand why that area is considered better. It's quite far from the train station/public transport and also farther from the city as compared to houses near the train station...

Me neither tbh. Probably because a lot of Keperra is still run down and rough (ie Annandale st) so that section is comparitively pleasant. The nicest parts I saw were those closest to Grovely Station.

    Why Keperra?
If you can buy into Everton Park and stafford Heights?
