Investing in NSW and VIC

    I currently have a IP in Brisbane and would like to buy into the NSW/VIC market to diversity.

    The aim is to hold it long term and hopefully get some growth in the short term too (2-5 years).

    My budget is anything upto $700k.

    Any suggestions as to what areas and types of properties I should be looking at?

    In this current low interest rate market, is it worth investing in new land/house packages in South West Sydney suburbs such as Oran Park ?

    Geelong. Buy as close to the water as you can with the largest land component.
