    Hey all,

I'm a new person to all this, so pardon any ignorance on my part. I want to know if it would be wise to invest in any Australian Indicies soon, given the bear market. I can't help but feel that in the long term this is relatively safe endeavour.

    Input or advice?

    Thanks all

Can you handle 20, 30% losses if you buy now and will probably make good gains long term?

I wouldn't buy now, I don't at all believe it is finished dropping. But yeah would be more of a long term thing

As long as the world doesn’t end, then I would say it’s a good long term investment.
