@Colin Rice Hi Colin, could i please copy of those PDF's.

I'm still early on in my investing career so any knowledge i can acquire is worthwhile.

    Thanks a lot.

Sorry this link keeps periodically going down (not my page, just a good reference list I found with reasons why).
Here's a webarchive view of the page:

Instead of reading you can jump onto YouTube and google Richest Man In Babylon, giving an animation helps put a face to a name.

Think and Grow Rich - Is great for inspiration and push you forward.

Feel The Fear and Do It Anyway - To push through those time when you get shaky in not knowing whether or not your should buy that property.

Rich Dad Poor Dad - Great to understand the position you want to be in when buying property. There are too many people out there who buy property for the wrong reasons. Negative Gearing is the wrong reason, why lose $1 so that you can save up to 0.45c in tax? I rather pay up to 0.45c in tax and make 0.55c.

Art Of The Deal - Donald Trump (whether you like him or hate him, he is a property tycoon. Yes he got his first $1M from his dad, however he got himself back up through bankruptcy.)

20 Questions By Margaret Lomas - Understand the amount of Due Diligence you should do before you buy a property. The only thing I disagree with her is that even if the numbers stack up, I will always look at the property before I buy, because being there will give you a better understanding of what you can do. Case in point is all those beautiful holiday photos of pools, which turn out to be a blow up pool taken from fantastic angles.

I still have my copy of "Think and grow rich" from 30 years ago when I purchased it . I found it really heavy/dry reading . There is some weird stuff in there too .

The Richest man in Babylon is a pleasure to read by comparison.
