    Have a look in the Greater Bendigo region, you will find older houses there on decent blocks, theere are schools, and its still a freeway or train to the city. Good luck.

    Nice work Sash, so you bought into Werribee and Hoppers Crossing in 2015?

    No they were way before...in 2007 I believe...bought for 130k (Werribee) and 170k (Hoppers). These are now 450k and 500k respectively

    The recent ones have been in Geelong, Mickleham, Officer, and Wyndham Vale. Just also bought along the Bellarine Coast also....

    How much deposit would you normally need for land settling in 12-18 months time?

    It depends back holding deposit 2k, then 5% now would be 10% seeing how hot it is. Don't forget u need a deposit for the builder too

    the basics who is buying....infrastrcture planned....relative value to distance to city
