HI there....... I think you'll need to give a whole lot more info like your borrowing limits, what you are looking for etc....before you will get any useful info.

I am living in the Southwest of Sydney at my own house. Working for a Civil contractor. Looking to invest around 500K-600K, but can't decide what to buy, where to buy, when to buy?

At the risk of being accused of shameless self-promotion, you may be best advised to engage with a reputable Buyers Agent who can give you guidance and be able to support support their advice with case studies.

Are you after tax effective CG, or income, or something else?

Have you spoken to a broker to find out what's possible based on your plans and current scenario? It's usually a good first step - once you have a plan in place and know what you can borrow, it will narrow down the what/where/when into much more manageable chunks :)

It's very easy to get overwhelmed otherwise!
