    Hello,

For those who have tried their hand at buying and holding rentals in international markets (particularly the US and Canada), have you found the returns to be worth the hassle of holding assets so far away (with respect to both the associated managerial and tax complexities)?

I ask because it seems that the US market in particular is an easier market in which to find properties with positive cash flow, but I'm wondering if people who have tried holding such properties have found the hassle to offset any cashflow benefits.

    Thanks!

Returns would be worth the hassle when it comes to commercial scale. Say, multi-family for 10 investors managed by professional team on the US soil.
