A rising, warm or HOT! market is probably the best time to off load a different or under-performing or 'challenged' property. So you are more likely to see them start coming out of the wood work at this time.
Just a light-hearted thread looking at some of the listings that you wouldn't blame them for trying, but once you find the issue, think they might be taking the p*** a little bit.

Apologies to any Property Chatters if one of their properties is featured ;)

it has 24h reception so I'm not surprised. If its actually BC then..

Only two types of people would buy this. A rich person who can easily afford it and an idiot.

Yep, about $28,000 for the year.
Imagine someone not noticing that when buying!

And just in case anyone has seen that and thought it's so good, you're willing to risk it - good luck getting insurance ;)

Am I reading it correctly? The area was flooded twice - 2011, 1974?

Spot on! I think were a couple earlier than that too.
There might be times when it's not considered a big 'flood' as well, I've seen cars floating in the Northey St carpark before. May have been a big king tide I think, came up the creek.

Northey St floods in a sun shower.

Mother in law grew up on northey st until '74 flood came. After that flood they resumed half the houses on the street.

    Woah! That's a good one.
Just took a look at the satellite image on Google Maps - crikey.
The ad has "It Is still 809sqm, so get your town planner and Architect on the line!" I can't imagine council would let much happen there.

Might scare off OOs? But some potential for 2 story town houses maybe? Garage underneath, it would require something a little unusual to make to work. It's essentially priced at land value only. Not for me, there's some risk involved but some clever cookie could make money from it probably.
