Just received my renewal from EBM for Buildings / Contents / LL insurance. Seems it is increasing by 22.5% from last year. A decent chunk.

Anyone renewed recently? What % increase were you looking at.

Might be time to shop around again.

Yeah maybe so. One of my least favorite things to do, compare insurance policies.

Especially when I was actually really happy with EBM. Had to claim on the policy 2 weeks into taking it out earlier this year. Super smooth claims process.

But 22.5% is a big increase.

For the LL component they are cheaper than TS and probably about the same as PIP.

The building component is obviously very variable on type of property, its age and location.

Regardless of cost or other considerations getting claims in days vs months is the main point of difference between ebm and ts imo.
