Insurance for 8 units on 1 title

    I hold 8 units, not strata titled, in QLD. It's 2 seperate buildings on a little block.

    I'm currently renewing my insurance policy and was in for a shock.
    For Building cover & LL cover the price came in at $5K with Millennium and at $6.6K with Suncorp.
    I was expecting closer to $3.5K

    Does anyone have recommendations of who I can approach?

    We took insurance with CHU a with titles going through council (but not yet separate titles). We had a hold up, and with the renewal for that policy depending on having title, were told if we didn't get it through in time, they could look at covering us under a different type of cover.

    We got titles through in time but I'd give CHU a call and see what the other cover might be, and the cost.
