We absolutely loved this. A 99 year old Holocaust survivor (he's now 100, Eddie Jaku, describes himself as the happiest man on earth. Despite having experienced Buchenwald and Auschwitz, he has no hatred towards his captors, and looks to give as much happiness into the world every day And the book https://www.amazon.com.au/Happiest-Man-Earth-Eddie-Jaku-ebook/dp/B087423FC7 He also features in several other talks on YouTube. Very well worth viewing.
Another story of escape (this time from North Korea) - and how a random act of kindness from an Australian not only provided a lifeline, but changed her cynical view of the world completely And the book - another great read https://www.amazon.com.au/Girl-Seve...ords=seven+names+kindle&qid=1602057812&sr=8-1
Heading towards 101 now and he's still giving talks. His book reached number one in Australia on the bestseller list, five weeks after it was released last year, and has been translated into 22 languages. The best book of the year IMO - and probably the only book so far read by all four family members. Goodreads rated it 4.73 with over 5,000 ratings. The Happiest Man on Earth by Eddie Jaku And excellent and inspiring book.
