    As funny as it sounds, that quote works for other areas besides bodybuilding. Everyone wants the results of the end goal, but nobody wants to put in the work required to achieve that goal.

    If you put in the work, you can achieve your goals. Simple.

    The ICAA used that as one of their motivational slogans a few years back. I had a poster stuck to my office wall for inspiration. I will never forget it.

    Ask yourself this question......Am I heading in the direction I want to be going in right now? Why wait, don't procrastinate, overanalyse or lie to yourself that you are doing the most or best that you can, make a plan, set a goal, take some action.....Just do it!! Whatever it is that you really want to achieve, it's all possible. Get rid of the excuses, ignore the doubts and give it a red hot go. Don't live life looking back in the rear view mirror of regret....move forward and don't take no for an answer...if you get knocked down, get back up and say "screw you...nothing's gonna stop me"....never quit, be a persistent force, take pleasure in making things happen that you are told or think are not possible, dream big, take a risk, why the hell not....life is too short not to live it to the potential that it deserves. If you ever hear yourself saying "yeah but"....just suck it up! Pity parties with only yourself invited are a waste of time....life may not be a walk in the park, but it IS fair, it will always be a harsh and accurate judge of what you deserve. The truth is we all get exactly what we deserve based on the actions we've previously taken....The real challenge is to believe that we deserve better now and into the future, and then just go out and make it happen. No one else can do it for you, that is both the beauty and the burden of choice....the choice is entirely yours to make of it what you will....
    Every moment on this earth is a precious gift....choose to use it on your own terms, with the people you want to, in the way you want to.
    It won't be easy....but only you can decide if getting what you want is possible, and whether you decide it can or can't be done....you will be right!
