    Also recommendations for a buyers agent as I am more across East and South East

    Cate Bakos specialises in the inner west.

    There is a good thread on Altona and Altona North over on Somersoft.

    We wanted to buy in West Footscray but found it challenging to find a place in the right pocket within walking distance of the train station in our budget.

    Altona North has had good growth the last two years and is cheaper than Altona but without the same suburb amenity or train station.

    Hi,
    Both areas you have mentioned are cooking at the moment.... If you are looking at investing in these ares, I think its say to say you have missed the boat in terms of maximum capital gain potential. Have a look at Maidstone!!!
