Closed Indefinite OP editing

    Will allow a thread creator only (if motivated) to update/add important/relevant info made by other members throughout potentially many pages of the thread making it easier for anyone coming across it later for research.

    I won't implement this - there are significant ramifications for allowing extended editing of posts, and we cannot restrict editing time-limits rights to only the first post in a thread.

    However, we do have the Resources system which is an alternative and arguably more appropriate location for collecting or summarising knowledge from the forums.

    I haven't set up the Resources area yet - we'll investigate that further once everything else is set up.

    Cool, thought it may have been a tech issue re OP only

    A suggestion with the Resources area is perhaps have stickies for individual States/Territories etc as there's so many variances re legislation's etc, if conversation limited to a single national long thread people will get misinformed.
