    Warning rant.

I'm so ****** off with how many bloody clowns enter the parents room. It's a room to change babies, feed and let them nap in those cubicles. There are two signs inside which says keep the noise to an absolute minimum.

I was in one cubicle with my daughter who was having a nap when these ****ing parents come in with their child, on the phone and talking so loud, almost shouting. Woke up my baby ( 10 months). They spent 5 mins, changed their baby ( who was hysterically crying) all the while chatting on the phone.

Then these two ladies came in, laughing away like it's a comedy show while they both used the bathroom one after another. My daughter woke up again. For ****s sake.

Then 15 mins later a lady bring her baby in...so far so good. Walked to a cubicle near mine and... like a barbarian pulls the curtain open while the top rails screeching loud. Sounds like she's feeding her baby. Then, phone starts ringing. She answeres and talks like she's fighting over noise in a club. I had had it. My daughter woke again. I got out of there and before leaving spoke through her curtain about being considerate to others. Was more colourful what I said but I was furious with these morons.

Seriously how ****ing clueless are some people.

    Rant over.

I thought those rooms were just for changing nappies. I think it is best to not worry about noise, babies can get used to sleeping anywhere, noisy or not.

No these ones have cubicles and couch for feeding and napping. Signs clearly say keep noise to a minimum. Yes babies get used to noise, but she did wake up 3 times.

This world is full of dumb azzes and I understand where you're coming from Sackie.

The only time I've used those rooms was when the gents were chockers and I didn't want to go through the ordeal of using the ladies room again.

It's just unbelievable how clueless so many people are. I shouldn't be surprised...but seriously some of these folks behaviour is totally insightless.

    I’m outraged ;).

Me thinks it is time to start a movement so we have a Parents’ Room for Fathers (PRF) and a Parents’s Room for Females (PRF) :p.

    @Sackie, are you on board?

How about parents room for those who have brains. I completely understand if a baby is crying or a child the screaming, that's absolutely fine. But when parents take the **** and walk-in chatting away, using their phones and speaking loudly, treat the place as it's their local nightclub with no regard for anyone else, it fryken ****** me off how entitled their behaviour is. Especially when there are signs, and it's not a play centre, it's for feeding, changing and napping. There are usually babies napping at any given time or mums feeding semi napping babies. Which is part of the purpose for the room . Not socialising.

Just some common sense would be good. Even their babies ( honestly) are behaved better then their parents.

They are a fantastic resource for parents. I'm told dads use them, although I've never seen a dad in their looking after their baby. Only mums. Never seen a dad change a nappy in there. Anyway that's another story .

If this is a parents room you use regularly perhaps ask for a ‘no phone calls sign’ to be put up.

(However, blaming the lady for opening the curtain too noisily is definitely over the top - it’s not her fault the rail was one of those screechy ones.)

    Peeve of the day...

People aggressively pushing to park next to you when you have the door open and a pram in the way. Someone tried to reverse in on my wife yesterday and I walked around to the other side to make sure things were okay. My gentle "dude, WTF" side glance got no response .. it was a bit strange really.

It's the phone use and chatting away loudly she did which I found very inconsiderate, obviously ignoring the signs.

I just don't get why it's so hard for some ppl to be more considerate. Wanna talk on phone? Fine, but does it have to be so loudly?

    Really inconsiderate folks out there.

One unfortunate experience ... you dont seem to realise how lucky you and the parents of today are having safe facilities to toilet and feed your children.

I had 3 boys and I took them into the ladies toilets [just toilets/washbasins nothing else] until they were old enough to wait till they got home. I will never forget the little boy whose mother sent him to the gents alone, there was a monster waiting and he was murdered. This happened at Hornsby over 50 years ago but I have never forgotten.

I would have loved to have had the facilities that modern parents expect and get today ... :)

I'd just sit on a bench in the middle of the shopping centre, throw a large cloth over my shoulder, tuck junior under and feed there and then. Junior then went back in the pram and slept while I continued shopping.

What I don't get is women that talk loudly on their phones while sitting in a public toilet cubicle ... seriously guys ... where is the self respect?

Yep. Just changed them on the floor of the disabled toilet ... always carried an old cloth nappy to put down first

None of those "parents with prams" parking spots either
